What is the Cuba eVisa?
The Cuba eVisa is an electronic tourist visa linked to the passport used for the trip. Travellers receive a 10-character code that must be entered in D’Viajeros before arrival.
Use the official website
Apply only through the official Cuban eVisa portal or through the travel provider responsible for your booking. Avoid unofficial websites that add unnecessary service fees or request more personal information than required.

eVisa and D’Viajeros are not the same thing
The eVisa authorizes tourist entry. D’Viajeros is the separate online customs, immigration and health declaration. After receiving the visa code, complete D’Viajeros and save the QR code on your phone and as an offline screenshot.

Requirements can differ depending on the airline, the country of connection and the passport used. Check the airline instructions before departure, especially when the itinerary includes the United States or another country with separate transit rules.
Before leaving for the airport
- Confirm that the passport number matches the eVisa application.
- Keep the 10-character visa code offline.
- Complete D’Viajeros within the permitted arrival window.
- Save and print the D’Viajeros QR code.
- Carry proof of travel insurance.
- Keep the first accommodation address available.
