Le contenu d’un forfait tout inclus à Cuba dépend de la catégorie réservée et des services réellement ouverts pendant le séjour.
Food at a Varadero all-inclusive resort can vary by hotel, season, supply conditions and occupancy. A realistic plan is more useful than expecting every restaurant, ingredient and advertised menu item to be available every day.
Buffet restaurants
The buffet is usually the most reliable place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Arriving near the beginning of service may provide a wider selection and shorter lines. Choose freshly cooked items when possible, keep hot food hot and avoid dishes that appear to have remained at room temperature for a long period.
À la carte restaurants
Some resorts require reservations, while others assign a limited number of visits per stay. Ask at check-in how reservations work, which restaurants are currently open, whether a dress code applies and if children are accepted at every sitting.
Snack bars and beach grills
Snack bars can be useful between meals, but their hours and menus may change. A venue advertised online may close temporarily because of weather, maintenance, staffing or supply conditions. Keep one or two sealed snacks for late arrivals and excursion days.
What to bring
- small sealed snacks for travel days;
- oral rehydration salts;
- medication you normally use;
- specialty food required for a medical diet;
- a translated allergy or dietary card;
- a reusable bottle or container when permitted.
Dietary needs and allergies
Travellers with allergies, diabetes, celiac disease or other dietary restrictions should contact the hotel before departure and repeat the request after arrival. Buffet cross-contact can occur through shared utensils, cooking surfaces and mislabeled dishes. For a serious allergy, speak directly with a chef or restaurant manager rather than relying only on a buffet label.
Food safety basics
- wash or sanitize hands before eating;
- choose food that is freshly prepared;
- drink treated or bottled water;
- avoid food with an unusual smell, temperature or texture;
- seek medical advice for persistent vomiting, high fever, blood in stool or signs of dehydration.
Plan a backup meal
Late flights, delayed transfers and changing restaurant hours can leave travellers without a full meal. Keep simple food in your carry-on, especially for children, seniors and anyone who must eat with medication.
