These double-decker "open-top" buses are called Varadero Beach Tour and Panoramic Bustour, and are the most convenient way to travel along the Varadero Peninsula. The one-day ticket costs 5 CUC with unlimited access from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Its loop route includes 46 stops connecting all hotels, shopping centers, markets, marinas, golf course, Delfinario, and downtown Varadero. They pass more or less every half hour. We buy the ticket on the bus

A large and comfortable catamaran takes you offshore to enjoy the beauty of the turquoise waters that surround the Varadero Peninsula; you can relax while the catamaran glides gently over the waves. The first stop is a coral reef where you can enjoy snorkeling (equipment provided). Then the catamaran anchors very close to the magnificent beach of Cayo Blanco (a small uninhabited islet) where you can enjoy a delicious meal (choice of: lobster, shrimp, squid, chicken, etc.) to the sound of the traditional Cuban music. You will have free time for swimming, playing games, doing non-motorized water sports, or just relaxing on the beach. Then the catamaran returns to Varadero. Note that this tour does not include interaction with dolphins.

Board a well-maintained steam train and enjoy a ride through the sugar cane fields to admire the superb panoramic views of the Cuban countryside. When you arrive at one of the factories where sugar cane is processed, you will discover the fascinating details of its production and will be able to observe the machines on site.
