"THE" question: What will the weather be like in Varadero?

"THE" question: what will the weather be like in Varadero?

No matter where we choose to go on holiday in the South, we all want good weather: sunshine, warm weather with just enough wind, not too much humidity, calm and warm seas….

For Varadero there are statistics that can serve as a guide such as the graphs from Partir.com:

However, weather forecasts are an “indication” and not a guarantee of what the weather will be like… neither here in Quebec nor elsewhere in the world, nor in the Caribbean!

We can also cross-reference data from different sites to get a better idea of what we can expect in the short term, but nothing is guaranteed yet... What I realize following the sharing of several of our members is that it is more important to focus on the number of millimeters of rain expected than to focus all our attention on the pictograms... which are often more "discouraging" than reality will ultimately be.

Of course, during the rainy and hurricane season (June 1st to the end of November), I would not hesitate to consult the National Hurricane Center website to make sure I don't have any bad surprises before my departure! https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ And I would make sure I have good cancellation insurance!!!

Prevention is better than cure!

A very interesting tool!

On the Partir.com website, there is an option that allows you to check the weather over the last five years for the travel dates that interest you.

Happy holidays in Varadero!
