Donate to the Church of Varadero
We are back from a week in Varadero, and as suggested by some, we brought to the church in Varadero some things to help the Cubans. We were able to talk with the "secretario" of the church and he wrote us some things that the most needy people need right now.
According to what he told us (and also read on some forums), they are well placed at the church to know who are the people who most need the things we bring.
So here's what they need most:
Used reading glasses (strength +1 to +3.5)
Mercurochrome
Ibuprofen (tablet and liquid)
Acetaminophen
Aspirin
Voltaren
multivitamins (children and adults)
The “secretario” also told us that linen (even if a little torn) was also appreciated, including shoes.
Address: Santa Elvira de Varadero Church, in the city center, Avenida 1 Calle 47, Varadero, here on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ohYKTQzS5sjcdLbC9
The Church is open from 9am to noon Monday through Friday
